History
Capstone Church had its beginnings in 1990 as Church on the Rock, then University Park Church at a Holiday Inn in Fort Worth, TX. After much prayer, Jeff Wickwire felt impressed to start a new work with a burden to raise up Christians into their God-given calling, and to reach unchurched and non-Christians with the gospel.
UPC met in a renovated restaurant for 16 years which was sold in 2005. In May of 2008, Capstone Church moved into it's current location. Now meeting in two weekly services, Now meeting in two weekly services - 10 AM Sunday and 7 PM on Wednesdays, Capstone has seen the Lord's vision come to pass. Scores of unchurched and non-Christian individuals have found Christ as their Savior. And many Christians have been helped to discover their God-given gifts, callings and purpose.
